Thank
You!
Thank you to all our volunteers!
As the holidays approach, we want to extend a warm thank you to Sue Tripp,
our volunteer coordinator, and to our publicity team.
Tuolumne County’s Volunteer of the Year 2007, Sue Tripp was tireless in her
efforts to find helpers for this ambitious project. All our Cowboy Hats & Artists’ Berets
are waving in the air to cheer Sue Tripp!
Our publicity team worked day and night:
- Gail Segerstrom — All Graphics Design, including our adorable
Red Cow in Beret
- Greg Falken & Stuart Hince — Our Webmasters. Thanks
for your patience, guys!
- Susan & Doug Kohl — Our media moguls from Sierra Communications.
What a gift you’ve been!
- Bob Casey — Our dedicated marketing & economic development
guru
- Dianne Shannon & Dave Bonnot — Our festival photographers
- Jerry Snyder — Our Stanislaus National Forest Service
liaison for information
- Lori Klingberg — Our Stanislaus National Forest Service
graphics designer. You worked so well with our Gailie.
AND Thanks to our local farmers!
This month, we want to give a hearty hurrah to four local farms:
HURST RANCH GOLD CAMP — Joe, Leslie & Tom Hurst, THANK
YOU for all your hard work. We had a ball riding the miniature train,
touring the Old West Town and visiting the barn animals. Plus, our
Plein Air Artists had the joy of painting the olive orchard. Our Hurst
Ranch BBQ was delicious, thanks to that grass-fed beef from the
ranch.
MT. BROW WINERY — A toast for The Costello Family and their
gracious hospitality! We held three events at their vineyard. Plus,
they hosted our Foothill Farmlands ARTS Festival Gallery Exhibit.
Jim & Jeff, you are consummate gentlemen. And thanks for pouring
such delicious wines for all of our events.
TWAIN HARTE TREE FARM — Don & Peggy Moore hosted a school
field trip with guest artist Dianne Stearns. All those Curtis Creek kids
will remember that day for years to come. We wish you a joyful
holiday season as you find homes for all your beautiful Christmas
trees.
RANCHO TORALES OLIVE ORCHARD & LAVENDER FARM — A
blessed thanks to Joy & Sandy Severin for hosting our very first
festival event—Our lavender bloom Plein Air Painting and
Photography morning. Your lovely ranch inspired us all.
